3.5-3.75 stars.Private Eye turned out to be an enjoyable book. I really liked it.Somewhere in the middle of the book it seemed a bit slow paced--especially Rafe's investigation regarding the missing girl--but then the story and the end made totally up for that. It certainly was an entertaining and sweet love story, though not sappy, and the "gay-for-you" element worked, too, because Jeremy has never been that totally straight, chasing-skirt-after-skirt guy. Instead, he's just never really been into girls/women to begin with. He just never really thought about it.Overall, this is an engaging, light and fast read for inbetween that left me with a good feeling.
