I usually try to stay clear of books with overly feminine, flamboyant protagonists wearing more makeup, highheels and glitter than I ever could. Not because I think it's wrong (or any other stupid thing), I just enjoy reading about a MC I can find hot as hell more. And since I'm rather all for manly (hairy) men, stubble/beard, maybe even tats and/or piercings you can see my little dilemma with this protagonist here. ;)But I totally enjoyed the voice of the first-person-narrator, Danny Marshal. His characterisation is really fun. He's snarky, upfront and loves to attract attention and maybe to shock a little bit. He comes across as genuine and IMO, he's a really likable character.
