This is in and of itself a really engaging and fun story that kept me interested and hooked.

And this even despite the fact that there is not really much Teen Wolf-y to be recognised here. Don't get me wrong, this works wonderfully as an original regency story, imo. But the similarities between the characters in this fic and the ones in the TV series are rather few, if not even non-existent. Especially when it comes to Peter. He was referred to has cunning and witty and dark, but there isn't much in the way of proving him to be such a man. Even despite him having set in motion one great "cunning" plan to overthrow the monarchy in his home kingdom he doesn't come across as a potentially dark mastermind. Not to mention: no (or very few) witty snark or banter a la Peter Hale...

So, was this fic enjoyable? Yes, definitely. But I'd rec reading it less like a TW fanfic and more like an original story.
