Insightful Emotional Rollercoaster RideThe 2nd book of the Tales of Foster High Series did not disappoint, at all.I was positively surprised that it was written in Brad's POV so that we can get an insight on his inner emotional turmoil, this time. And that is exactly what we get. You won't really find any big action in this short story. Apart from the fact that the 80ish pages only span a timeline of 1-2 days, this short story rather gives you the possibility to witness Brad's reaction, feelings, doubts, unperfectness (despite the outward appearances), the way he deals with pressure (that he is put under by parents, coach, schoolmates, himself) and his usual way to deal with problems in general - all that in the front seat of this emotional rollercoaster ride, figuratively spoken. And in the course of these few days - hours, really - we get to see him grow or man up.Overall, a nice short story. :)
